Kathleen O'Neal Burnsed, 87, of South Daytona passed away on December 2, 2022.  She was born on April 8, 1935 in Lake City, Florida to Eva Norris.  Kathleen graduated from Mainland High School in 1954.  She pursued her career in school food service.  She married George Junior Burnsed on August 6, 1962.  They were married for 17 years when he passed away.  Kathleen enjoyed barbecues, fishing, spending time with her family, listening to country music, dancing and baking.  She is survived by her son, George (Jean) Roy Burnsed; granddaughters, Taylor Meehan and Faith Burnsed; step-daughters, Sherron Moore, Jean Braddy and Patti Burnsed.  She is preceded in death by her husband, George Burnsed and her step-daughters Vivian Thoburn and Marcia Armstrong.  Kathleen's Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11:00am at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Chapel followed by inurnment at Daytona Memorial Park.
