Kathryn E. Goerke
May 23, 1928- March 4, 2022

Kathryn "Kay" Goerke (Bodak), age 93, was born in Kentucky to Stella and William Bodak. She grew up in Buffalo New York and met her Husband Don Goerke there; they spent 50 plus wonderful years together. They moved to Daytona Beach In 1956. She worked as Nurse at Halifax Hospital, then as a realtor for Adams and Cameron Realty for 51 years. She retired from Adams & Cameron Realty in 2016. Kay was a loving and giving person with a huge heart of gold. Her love for her family was above all else, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She told everyone that she would forever be "39"!

She is survived by her sons Mark Goerke (Cheryl) and Gary Goerke (Cindy); 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sister, Daughter Kim Childress and Husband Donald Goerke.

The family will hold a service at Cardwell, Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 301 Big Tree Road, South Daytona, FL 32119 from 4 pm Friday, March 11th. They will also have a celebration of life at Kay's home after the services.
