Kenneth P. Duffy, 64, of Daytona Beach passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday July 19, 2015. A Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday July 23, 2015 in the Chapel at Cardwell Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Friday July 24, 2015 also in the Chapel at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach. Kenneth P. Duffy was born on July 26, 1950 to the late William and Marie Duffy in Brookline, MA. He graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1969. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving on the USS Samuel Gompers during Vietnam. He retired as a Lieutenant for the Ormond Beach Fire Department in 2000. Kenneth loved surfing of which he belonged to the Eastern Surfing Association and he loved bicycle motor cross (BMX). Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 39 years, Cathy; daughter, Michelle Marie Duffy of Ormond Beach; brother, Michael Duffy of Malden, Massachusetts; two brother-in-laws, Robert W. of Port Orange and Walter W. Nelson of South Daytona; two sister-in-laws, Nancy Bryan of Port Orange and Jonnie Sue Boehmn of Palm Coast; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael R.
