Leonard J. Love, 101, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2013. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday April 18, 2013 at 11:00 A.M The Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange, Florida. Leonard served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. It was in the Air Corps he developed his skills as an electrician and he later became an instructor of electrical code at Monroe County Community College. Leonard was an electrical inspector for New York Board of Fire Underwriters. Leonard was also a lifelong member of the American Legion, Post #270 in Port Orange, Florida. Leonard was the beloved husband of the late Gaetana Love for 66 years, loving father of Lenna Mosher, caring brother of Josephine Clements who subsequently passed away on March 2, 2013 and seven late brothers and sisters. He was also the caring grandfather of Alaina (Brian) Allsworth, and great-grandfather of Serena, Kira, and Garrett Allsworth. Leonard's family would like to thank Indigo Palms and Halifax Hospice of Volusia Flagler for their care and support.
