Linda Hamby Ness passed away peacefully at Florida Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 7, 2015 surrounded by her family after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. Linda was 67 years old and was born in Daytona Beach, FL and lived in the area all her life. Linda is predeceased by her parents, Fred and Lucille Hamby. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Jerome Ness, Port Orange, FL, her brother Fred Hamby III, (Tina) Holly Hill, FL, her sister Susan Hamby Schmissrauter (Glenn) Ormond Beach, FL., her nieces, April Hamby Dotson (J.R.) and their children, Ethan, Jackson, Elijah, Jase, Ormond Beach, FL, Helena Hubl (Radek) Ormond Beach, FL, and her nephew, Ryan Hamby, Satellite Beach, FL. Linda is also survived by her stepsons, Jayson Ness, his wife Jennifer, and their daughter Emma, Port Orange, FL, and Ryan Ness, California. Linda was a smart, funny, and beautiful woman. She was a professional photographer and owner of Charthe' Photography Studio, established in 1947 in Daytona Beach, FL, which she co-operated with her father until his death in 2008. A Memorial Service will be heldin the Chapel at Cardwell Baggett & Summers Funeral Home, Port Orange, FL on Thursday, August 13, at 11:00 am. Condolences may be shared with the family at
