Linda Lee Salyers, 72, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 18, 2015. She was a native of Kingsport, Tennessee, but lived most of her life in the northern Virginia & Maryland area before retiring with her husband to Daytona Beach, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Denny and Artie Darnell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Wayne Salyers, a son Shawn Dykes (Erin), her sister Connie Darnell and her brother Carl Darnell. She is survived by her sons Bart Dykes (Ana) of Knoxville, Tennessee. and Shannon Dykes of Daytona Beach, Florida. Brother Roy Darnell (Donna), Grandchildren Tyler, Conni, Abigail, Connor (Lee), Cory, Mason, and Madison Dykes, and several other relatives she loved dearly. Funeral Service & Going Home Celebration will be at noon on Friday, October 30, 2015, at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers Funeral Home & Crematory, 3571 S Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, FL 32129 (Daytona Beach area).
