Lois M Bird

Lois Bird of Ormond Beach, Florida and previously Highland Heights, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, at the age of 98.

Lois, the daughter of Leroy and Eva Warren, grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. It was here that she met her lifelong partner, Donald. Their 75-year marriage began in June of 1947. Together they raised four children.

Lois and Don traveled the world to such places as Europe, Asia, and Egypt. They also traveled to all 49 contiguous states in their travel trailer. Lois's passion, however, was her family. She loved gatherings where all her children were present.

Lois is survived by her four children David (Sue) Bird, Susan Moyer, Thomas (Debbie) Bird and Joan Hofmann. She is also survived by her twin sister Carol Rogers. Lois has 7 grandchildren: Jason (Christa), Jonathon (Gretchen), Jeffrey (Courtney) Bird, Katie (AJ) Miller, Scott (Grace) Moyer and Joshua and Michael Hofmann. Lois is also blessed with 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald, and her wonderful son-in-law George Moyer.

Everyone who ever met Lois loved her sense of humor and, especially, her infectious laugh. She will be missed.
