Mac Emerson Dorfner, 48, passed away on Friday September 6, 2013. A graveside service will be held on Thursday September 12, 2013 at 11:00 A.M at Woodland Cemetery, 399 Orange Ave, Port Orange, FL 32114 with Rev. Mark Spivey officiating. Mac was born in Daytona Beach, Florida on December 31, 1964 and was a lifetime resident of the area. He was a graduate of Spruce Creek High School, class of 1983. Mac was an avid fisherman and his friends called him the 'flounder pounder." He also was a Florida Gator's and NASCAR fan. Mac was predeceased by his brother Mike E. Dorfner. Those left to cherish Mac's memory are is parents Richard and Billie Sue Dorfner; sisters, Jean Dorfner and Denise (Rick) Vanderpoole, and brother, Raymond Dorfner.
