Obituary

Magdalene Lopez was born on September 10, 1946, in Ludwigsburg, Germany, and peacefully passed away on April 19, 2025. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and a dear friend to many. Magdalene was the beloved widow of Michael Robert Lopez, and together they built a life full of love and unforgettable memories.

As a military wife, Magdalene embraced a life of travel and adventure, exploring cultures around the world. She was an avid skier, gardener and beach lover who found joy in the outdoors and treasured every moment living life to the fullest.

Magdalene was a lifelong supporter of children and animal causes. She generously contributed to the Shriners Hospitals, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Humane Society.

She is survived by her three daughters: Susanne Garcia of Delray Beach, Florida; Diane Silvers of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; and Carol Rafferty of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her family was the heart of her world, and she took great pride in her daughters' accomplishments and happiness.

Magdalene's warmth, kindness, and strength touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who were fortunate to call her a friend.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family in her honor. In lieu of flowers, donations in Magdalene's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
