After a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer, Marcia M. Williams (Keyes) of Daytona Beach, FL, passed away on September 17, 2022 at the age of 71.

Marcia was born on January 4, 1951, in Orlando, Florida to Verla Algatha Hill and Thomas McCordy Keyes, who both predeceased her. She grew up Daytona Beach, Florida with her 2 sisters. After high school, Marcia obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Bethune Cookman College.

Over her 40+ year career, Marcia worked for several employers, such as BellSouth, and most recently the Florida Department of Children and Families before her retirement in 2012.

Marcia loved her family. She cooked dinners every Sunday for her children, sisters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Marcia also loved her faith, as she was a long-time member of the Church of Christ Daytona Beach. Finally, she was an active member of the Oasis Senior Group at the Yvonne Scott Golden Center, with whom she enjoyed traveling and playing weekly games of Pokeno with her friends.

Marcia was preceded in death by her daughter, Joy A. Keyes and her brother Albert LeRoy Keyes (Hedy). She is survived by her two children, Darriell Williams-Andrews (Gary) and Robyn Williams-Pickens; her beloved cat, Ruger. Sisters: Phyllis E. James (Wilfred) and Naimah Muhammed; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
