Margaret Jean Brozek, 95, of Port Orange, went to rest with the Lord on April 5, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility after a lengthy battle with dementia and then a stroke. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday April 11, 2015 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, FL 32129. Margaret was born on January 7, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY. She retired in 1976 from Pan Am Airlines and then moved to this area in 1977. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange and the The Long Island Womens Club. She enjoyed telling jokes and stories to her grandchildren, swimming, dancing and socializing. Most of all she loved her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Phyllis Anne (Carl) Linfante of Port Orange and Marjorie Ellen DeSalvatore of Farmingdale, NY; Four Granddaughters, Vicki, Michele, Julie and Andrea; Seven Great Grandchildren, Joseph, Valerie, Lindsey, Alexandria, Nicholas, Kaitlin, and Julia; and One Great-Great Granddaughter, Taylor. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Margaret's memory to Vitas Hospice, 1717 N. Clyde Morris Blvd., Suite 130, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
