Marie J Hobbs gained her wings at a young age of 84 years old on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. She was the oldest of 2 children born to Harold A. and Marie A. Kreller. She worked as a bank teller for many years in several banks in Daytona Beach. She then obtained her C.N.A. License and worked caring for others until the day she retired.


She is predeceased in death by her parents, husband of 53 years George T. Hobbs Jr., brother, Harold C. Kreller Sr. (Jo Ann), and son Harold C. Kreller Jr., oldest daughter, Linday Day, and grandson Nicholas. She is survived by daughter Ruth Ann Wimberly (Dale), son, George T Hobbs III (Karen), daughter, Marie A. Hobbs, adopted daughter Deborah Peterson, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
