Marlene A. Hayes, 81, of Holly Hill, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was born in Troy, New York on February 1, 1933 to William and Stella Archer. Marlene is predeceased in death by her parents, husband, Frank E. Hayes; two stepdaughters Alison McLaughlin and Barbara Ransom, both of Burlington, VT; and survived by Dr. Janice Hayes, Ormond Beach. She moved from Cape Cod to Holly Hill in 1979 where she continued working in the banking industry with SunTrust. She learned Braille and helped transcribe books for the blind, a nature lover, a seamstress, and belonged to a Christian Women's Organization. Marlene will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
