On Sunday, October 19th she left this earth and flew to heaven where she joined her parents Juanita and B.A. McElroy, her brother Barry McElroy and her beloved youngest son Mitchell Kirby. She is survived by her husband of 55 years James Kirby, her sister Sandra Daugherty, her children Michelle Kirby Bergeron and Michael Kirby, daughter in law Robin Kirby, and grandchildren Jason Kirby, Ryan Kirby, Sean Kirby, Brady Bergeron and Brittany Bergeron and a great-grandson, Dustin Kirby. Everybody knew her as Miss Marsha, if you knew her, you probably think she didn't know your name because she called everybody "honey"! A lifelong Florida Girl, she was born in Lake City on March 12, 1937. Her family eventually settled in Daytona Beach where she graduated from Mainland High School in 1956. She met a young Navy man named Jim and they married, raised a family and started B & B Vending and Distributors. Miss Marsha was truly a gift. She was quite literally the kindest person you would have ever met. Stories of her kindness and generosity would fill this page. She was always there for those who needed help. She loved everybody. We lost a great lady, wonderful wife, terrific mom and awesome grandmother. Miss Marsha was a one of a kind southern lady and dear friend to all who were blessed to know her.
