She is predeceased in death by her parents, siblings, husband and 3 step-children. Martha was married to Archibald Smith who had 3 children (her step-children): Archie, Jr; Richard, and Jack; 2 sisters: Dorothy and Marion (Sigmund Dobrowski), 3 brothers: Harold, Bill, Hugo; and sister in-law Peggy Shultz; 5 grandchildren ;10 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. She worked as a secretary for Johnson Controls retiring after 25 years of service. In 1978, she moved to Port Orange, Fl and began working for Pirates Cove on Daytona Beach. She never drove a car, so she would walk to work from Ponce Inlet. After several years working for them, she left to care for her ill sister. Later, she moved to Admiralty Club Condominiums for 15 to 20 years. It was there she became close to her friends who she enjoyed playing nightly games. One of her favorite games was Hand and Foot along with different card games and Bingo. Martha loved staying active and she was an avid reader. In sports, she was a lifetime Green Bay Packers fan, but would never watch a game in fear she would jinx the players. She never met a stranger. Her nail tech, Jeannie Peasley, later became her dearest friend and care giver. She was a very gracious lady, loved by all and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Per her request, there will not be a "Celebration of Life" service.
