KNOX, Mary Ann

Mary Ann Knox, 70, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, October 29, 2017. She was born on January 31, 1947 in Washington, DC to the late Alfonso and Catherine Vanpoucke.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Friday November 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Boulevard, Port Orange, FL 32129.

Mary graduated from Father Lopez High School in 1965 and then retired from Southern Bell (now AT&T).
She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church where she served and was actively involved.
Mary enjoyed sewing, her pets and spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her sister, Betsy (William) Janiak of Miami Gardens, FL; her niece, Cathy (David) Broxton of Charlotte, NC; her brother Jack Van and two nieces, Shauna and Mandi Van of Boston, MA; nephew, Michael (Sandra) Janiak of Coconut Creek, FL; two great nephews and one great niece, 3 step children and 7 step grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Knox & late brother Jackie Vanpoucke.
