Michael-Paul Diprete, 43, of Daytona Beach, Fl. passed away on August 16, 2018 after a life long illness. Formerly of Cranston RI. Michael Paul graduated from Cranston High School East in 1993. He also graduated from Daytona State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Supervision and Management with honors.

He was born on April 6, 1975 to Paul DiPrete and Laura DiPrete. He moved to Daytona Beach Fl. 23 years ago. He had a very positive outlook on life. He got a lot done in a day and used his time wisely. He was witty and outgoing. Wherever he went, people gathered to see him. He was a very strong person. Michael-Paul had a wealth of friends that he enjoyed going to the beach and camping with. He loved to sing karaoke, Frank Sinatra "My Way". One other thing he looked forward to was the traveling to Rhode Island in the summer to visit old friends and family and enjoy some R.I. food from his favorite restaurants.

Although he was handicapped, he made effort not to show it. From having a daily paper route between the ages of 10 and 18 to working in the hospitality field carrying food trays.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister Michelle Nuttall and her husband Gary and nephew Taylor, from Colorado Springs, step brother Raymond DiPrete and his wife Donna from North Providence R.I. and several aunts, uncles, uncles, and cousins; as well as his faithful companion, his dog Bella.

The family is grateful for the care Michael-Paul received from the Halifax Health - Hospice Ormond Beach Care Center, from Jennifer Lex, RN,  Dr.Warner and Joyce Songster, RN.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a funeral service held at Lohman Funeral Homes 733 West Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach 32174. Burial will be private.
