An amazing lady died on Christmas morning. She leaves a family of devoted and grateful children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They will always be strengthened and supported by her unconditional love for them. Beyond her family there were numerous friends and caretakers who sought and enjoyed her energy for life, her wit and her wisdom. Mildred is predeceased by her husband, Jack in 1996 and her son, James in 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Dawson; Son, Dennis Montgomery; three sisters in Columbus, OH; Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at 8:30 AM on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange. A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday December 29, 2014 from 2-4 PM. Memorial Donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
