Obituary

Nancy Lou Smead 79, passed away after a long battle with Non-Hodgkins marginal zone lymphoma.  She died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Nancy was born in Jacksonville and raised in Daytona Beach. She attended elementary school here and attended Mainland Senior High school and has stayed in touch with all of her friends of the class of 1959. She loved and cared for each one of them.
Nancy dearly loved her very large blended family. She is survived by her daughter Susan Moremen; sons William B. Duffy III and Stephen S. Duffy.
She has Marie, Jimmy, Helen, Heather, Denise  grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews in Arizona, Massachusetts, Florida, Illinois, and Tennessee. Each one special to her.
She also was always happy to have her cats and dog nearby.
Her greatest accomplishment in life was to show everyone love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and faithfulness.
She will be greatly missed.
Tuesday,  August 4, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm will be visitation at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers located at 301 Big Tree Road South Daytona. Please bring your favorite memories and stories of Nancy to share with us. There will be refreshments afterwards.
