Norma Jane Conway went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2019, at the age of 90, in Daytona Beach, Florida. Norma was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Joseph and Mildred (Euler) Shannon. She was married for 65 years to Patrick Joseph Conway, Sr., who predeceased her on December 13, 2012. Norma and Pat resided in Baltimore where she worked as a secretary, homemaker, and then a cafeteria worker at General John Stricker Middle School for 20 years. In 1990 Norma and Pat retired and moved to Port Orange, Florida then to Edgewater, Florida and lastly to Daytona Beach, where they enjoyed the sunshine and relaxed lifestyle. Norma always had a love for animals and provided a home for many dogs and cats over the years. In her later years, she enjoyed feeding wild birds and watching them through her living room window. Norma was predeceased by her brothers, Wilbur Shannon and Howard Shannon. She is survived by her son, Patrick J. Conway, Jr. and his wife Nancy Lynn; her daughter, Millie M. Slayton and her husband Rod; her son, Stephen M. Conway and his wife Laura; six grandchildren, Tracy, Michele, Laurie, Patrick, Matthew, and Leah; four great-grandchildren, McLuhan, Alex, Amber, and Jacob. Inurnment of her ashes will be in Baltimore, Maryland next to her husband.
