Ora A. Elliot, 97 of Daytona Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday May 24, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday June 13, 2015 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 216 Orange Ave., Daytona Beach. She was the daughter of William Gross and Minerva Faux Gross and the wife of Alfred Elliot who died in 2000. Mrs. Elliot was born in Milnesville, PA and retired from Pennsylvania Power & Light Co., Allentown, PA, in 1978 after 32 years of service. She then moved to Daytona Beach from Allentown, PA. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Daughters of the King, Port Orange Travel, The Pennsylvania Club and Halifax Medical Center Foundation. She was preceded in death by her siblings, William Gross (Quarryville, PA), Elwood Gross (Daytona Beach), Thelma Diehl (Chester, PA), Irene Paisley (Elizabethtown, PA), and Mary Sube (Daytona Beach). She is survived by her nephew, William Gross of Oro Valley, Arizona and Phillip Diehl of Lebanon, PA Condolences may be shared with the family at www.cardwellfuneral .com.
