Patricia "Pat" Joan DeGeorge, 78, of Daytona Beach Shores, passed away on August 2, 2015 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center. She was born on December 14, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Anthony and Marie Izzo. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday August 8, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1014 N. Halifax Drive, Daytona Beach, FL 32118. A Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM til the Service Begins at the Church on Saturday. The Burial will take place on Monday August 10, 2015 at 11:30 AM at The Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Pat was a loving and giving person who enjoyed her friends and her family. Her hobbies were attending card games, bingo, walks on the beach and dancing with loved ones. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a devout Catholic and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie(Mike) Collins of Palmdale, CA and Julie Vanderkallen of LaQuinta, CA; son, Frank A.(Kim) DeGeorge of Apex, NC; sister, Mary Ann Battista of Chicago, IL; her significant other, John Humiston of Daytona Beach Shores; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Frank R. DeGeorge in 2004.
