Mrs. Peggy Deborah Adams, 60, or Debbie as everybody called her, was born on June 19th, 1954 in Georgia to Peggy and James Gaston and passed-away peacefully in her home on June 23rd, 2014. She lived most all of her life in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was an outstandingly loving and protective mother to her only daughter, Michelle Nicole Adams, whom lived with her and with whom she had an especially close, special, bonded, and loving relationship, a loving wife to her late husband of over twenty years, Robert M. (Bob) Adams, who she is now happily reunited with in heaven, the oldest of six brothers and sisters, and a stepmother to her late husband's six children. She was also a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church and the Halifax River Yacht Club. She was an amazingly loving, maternal, gorgeous, free-spirited woman who was passionate about her loved ones, wonderful at making people laugh, and devout in her faith and love of God and Jesus Christ. She touched many lives in wonderful ways and was exceptionally generous, giving, humorous, and open-minded throughout her entire life, with a wonderful, positive energy, passion and joy for life, and a smile that lit up the room. Most all of her life was spent taking great care of and helping others. Her passions in life, among so many things other things, included fishing, boating and being on the water, antiquing, traveling, her faith, music, cooking, reading, spending time with her husband and daughter on their boat, the Barca, and spending time and having new adventures and great conversations with her loving daughter, Michelle. Though losing her is a great loss, she is now free to fly and be with with her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Nicole Adams, and by her younger sister, Angela Smigiel. A private funeral service and private burial will be held at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona to celebrate her life.
