Ramona A. Tyson of Holly Hill, Florida passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Halifax Health Medical Center. She was born on August 14", 1928 to Alma and Ben Hobby and grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. Ramona was retired from her 35 plus year career as a pharmacist assistant in several cities, but primarily Daytona Beach, FL.

Ramona was predeceased by her husband LeRoy Tyson and also 3 brothers, Herbert Hobby, Ben Hobby, Jr., James Hobby and 2 sisters, Melba Bradley, and Minerva Parker. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Her closest friends included Barbara and Jerry Murphy, Suzy Waller, and Carol Liptak. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach and in previous years was active in the choir. Her hobbies included shopping and spending time with family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Cardwell, Baggett, & Summers Funeral Home 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave. Port Orange FL. on Monday June 6, 2016 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM with graveside services following at 1:00 PM at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens 3001 S. Ridgewood Ave. Edgewater FL. with Reverend Bobby Welch officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be sent in honor of Ramona to the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach.
