Obituary

Raymond "Ray" Edward Ricard, 80, of Port Orange, Florida went to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 15, 2015. He was born in Granville, N.Y. to Victor and Eleanor (Van Guilder) Ricard on August 7, 1934. He served in the U.S. Navy after high school, worked as a meat cutter in retail up north then retired from Food Supply of Daytona Beach, serving as a deacon and trustee in his church. He relaxed by playing golf. He is predeceased by his parents, son, Raymond Ricard, Jr., and first wife, Clara Ricard. Ray is survived by his wife ,of 38 years, Caroline (Brissette); sisters: Joan Wrischinsky of CA, Arlene Wright of VT, brother, Robert Ricard of Texas, sons: David (Alice) Ricard of VT, Paul (Joyce) of VT., John (Sharon) of TN; daughters: Mary (Roger) Bourn of Texas, Joan (Russell) Tarbell of VT., Lisa (Chris) Felion of VT, Stepchildren: Mark (Bonnie) Kimball of VT, Alyson Kimball (Tommy) of FL, 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many loving nephews and niece's. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. A "Celebration of Life" will be at Horizon Church, 101 Indigo Drive, Daytona Beach, Fl. 32114, Pastor Jerry Barnard, officiating on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm followed by refreshments and fellowship.
