Roland Benjamin, 88, passed away peacefully at his home on September 27, 2014. Visitation will be held on, Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers Funeral Home, 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, FL 32129. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 11:00 A.M at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers followed by interment at Daytona Memorial Park. Roland was born in 1926 in Coheos, New York. He enjoyed golf, bowling, shuffle board and liked to dance. Roland retired from Mohawk Fine Paper Mill after 33 years of employment. He was also a dedicated Elk for 37 years. Those left to cherish Roland's memory are his significant other of 20 years, Carol Myer; children, Nicole Benjamin, Francis Benjamin, Anne Marie Finger, Marie Ann White, and William Benjamin; brother, Lionel Benjamin; sisters, Evette Guay, Jane Rouillier and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
