KRAMER, Colonel Ronald T., U.S. Army, Retired, age 79, of Ponce Inlet, Florida passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013. Colonel Kramer served over 30 years in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was awarded numerous medals including the Defense Superior Service Medal and the Legion of Merit. He received his bachelor's degree from Temple University, a master's degree from Boston University, and a PhD from Pacific Western University. While in military service he also studied at Columbia University and the U.S. Army War College. After retirement, he served as a consultant for the Tampa Chamber of Commerce and taught at Hillsborough Community College. Ronald was predeceased by his daughter, Cynthia Kramer-Jillings. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Tawna (ne Barton); children, Michele (Gary) Kramer-Wolfson, Elliott (Jennifer) Kramer, Bonne (Jon Tomlinson) Kramer; sister, Toby (Robert) Kline; and five grandchildren, Zachary and Olivia Wolfson and Naomi, Landon, and Cianna Kramer. Interment will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, Florida 32127.
