Russell A. Greenwood, USN retired, born January 7, 1928, passed away peacefully in his home on April 14, 2014. Russell was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lucy Greenwood. Those left to cherish Russell's memory are his family, Shawn Walker, Tim McNeil, Christine McNeil, Jay and Donna DuRant, Edward and Patti DuRant, and Savilla and Ken Bishop. Russell retired with honors from the Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer. Russell and his wife Lucy enjoyed traveling, lawn bowling, fishing, and boating. Russell was an avid reader and enjoyed lively conversations with his friends. His family and friends will miss him very much. Russell will be interred with his wife Lucy at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Russell's final wish was to place on his headstone, "I'm here Lucy."
