Ruth A. Altmann, 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 21st surrounded by family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 1st at 2:30pm at Hope Lutheran Church, 594 N. Williamson Blvd, Daytona Beach.

Ruth was born and raised in Long Island where she met her husband of 41 years, Emre. She was an avid golf player and in her later years became a passionate bridge player. Ruth was a member of the Pelican Bay Golf Club, the Palmetto Club and a former member of the Halifax Yacht Club.

She is predeceased by her husband and those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ruth (Dick) Brown and Gail (Bill) Sickler; her grand children Joanna, Brett, Cole and Jennifer (Mike).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to Hope Lutheran Church, 594 N. Williamson Blvd, Daytona Beach.
