Samuel L. Slack, 36, of Edgewater unexpectedly passed away in a tragic accident on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. A Celebration of Sam's Life will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Av, Port Orange, FL from 5-7pm, with Funeral Service starting at 6pm. Sam was born in Daytona Beach and attended Spruce Creek High School. Sam spent the last 13 years in love with Krystal Germann, and they married 3 years ago. He was a loving husband who took wonderful care of Krystal. He loved cooking and caring for her, their household, and their beloved pets. Sam will be remembered for living life to the fullest and living on the edge. He loved riding motorcycles fast. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, boating, and scuba diving. Sam's passion was his family and friends. Sam will be sadly missed by his wife Krystal; by his mother Cathie Sullivan; by his brother Eric and sister-in-law Laurie; by his grandmother Boots Hubbard; and by his "Fat Dog" and kitty "Fat Head".
