It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra "Cissy" Patton-Lindsay, who departed this life on May 3, 2025, in Ormond Beach, Florida. She was born on August 15, 1942, in Bedford, Indiana and spent the majority of her life in sunny South Florida.

Sandra was a wife to her beloved husband, James Lindsay, and mother to, Cassie Couse and Michael Patton and 5 stepchildren. Sandra's legacy continues through her several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will fondly remember her playful spirit and the warmth of her love.

A social butterfly, Sandra enjoyed the company of friends and was a beloved lifetime member of the American Legion, where she spent many hours either working or socializing and creating memories. Her laughter and infectious spirit brought joy to those around her, and her love for life was evident on everything she did.

Sandra had a flair for fashion and was known for her stylish, colorful clothes and well-applied makeup. Her love for all things girly was a hallmark of her personality. She had a unique ability to entertain her family, especially her grandchildren, with dress-up games and her collection of quirky wigs, reminding everyone that a life is meant to be celebrated and enjoyed.

In her spare time, Sandra indulged in her many hobbies. She enjoyed shopping, bingo, and could often be found engrossed in a good book or watching her favorite TV shows. These simple pleasures brought her immense happiness.

While we mourn the loss of Sandra, we also celebrate the beautiful memories she created during her time with us. Sandra will be deeply missed but will forever be in the hearts of those she loved.
