Sandy A. Wheat, 79, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away on December 5, 2020 at Indigo Manor in Daytona Beach, Florida.  She was born on April 2, 1941 in Arlington, Massachusetts to Frank and Mary (McCusker) Tibbetts.  She retired as a Switch Board Operator for AT&T and also for the County after numerous years.  She enjoyed the Beach, but most especially her grandchild and her family.  Survivors include her three sons, Donny (Diana) Wheat, Jr. of Port Orange, Florida,  David (Theresa) Wheat, Sr. of Port Orange, Florida,  and Danny (Betty) Wheat of Newnan, Georgia;  brother, Gary (Marylee) Tibbetts of Arlington, Massachusetts; and eight grandchildren, Rachell Hillin, David Minch, Sarah Cagle, Donald Wheat, III, Danelle Brown, Samantha Highfield, David Wheat, Jr., and Brianna Clark.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Daniel Luke Wheat.  Memorial Donations may be made to Save our Beach.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.cardwellfuneral.com
