Scott Lee Sander, age 30, passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2013, in Port Orange, FL. Scott was born on October 19, 1982 in Texas City, TX, and lived in Clarksville, TN. He was a treasured husband, father and son. Scott was a decorated soldier who served with honor in the Navy and Army during the Iraqi and Afghanistan wars. Scott was an avid sportsman who enjoyed baseball, football, soccer and basketball with his children and nephews. He had a passion for animals which drew him to the Paws-for-Patriots organization. He attended Fellowship United Methodist Church in Clarksville, TN. He is survived by his wife, Kariny Sander; children - John, Emilly and Kayden; cherished sister, Tina Mitchell, brother-in-law, Ryan; beloved brother and best friend Bruce Sander, Jr., sister-in-law Samantha and nephews Alex, Bryce, Braden and Ryan. Much loved sister and brother, Briana Kassiri and Tyler Sander. Mother and Dad - Cheryl and Tom Pawlowski; father Bruce Sander, Sr.; Grandparents Shirley Gregory and Walter Sander; mother-in-law Maria Costa, sister-in-law Anny Costa, friends he considered family - Matt Price, Vince and Jen Lomali and Kristta Loggins; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Scott was preceded in death by grandmother, Anne Sander, grandfather Bert Henderson, Sr., grandfather Bernard Gregory, Aunt Sheri Sander Griggs, Uncle Mike Henderson and Aunt Randi Henderson Johnson. A visitation and memorial service will be held at the Baggett and Summers Funeral Home in Daytona Beach, FL, 736 Beach Street on Saturday July 27th at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are welcome.
