Shane A. Carlson, 33, passed away on June 7, 2014. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 6:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers, 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, FL 32129. A service of remembrance will begin at 7:00 P.M. Shane was born in Park River, North Dakota and lived in Pisek, North Dakota until 1988. He then lived in the Grand Forks area until 2001. Shane moved to Florida, and though he worked in North Dakota temporarily, he made his home in Florida. He was an outgoing, outspoken individual who was dedicated to his family and friends. His dedication was the most pronounced in the love of his fianc and his two sons. Shane was an energetic and hard working employee. He loved to work with his hands and was always working on a project. Many friends and family recall "the Garage" evenings and "Fight Night". Shane made events special. Birthdays and holidays were a mission to make it the best and the most memorable for all the people he loved. His imagination and determination will be missed. Shane is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Urban Carlson and Mr. and Mrs. George Denault. Those left to cherish his memory are his companion, Arielle Freier; children, Luke and Maxim Carlson; parents, Wesley (Nancy) Carlson, Michelle (Robert) Nattrass; brothers, Brandon Carlson, Ben (Jen) Carlson, Bobby Nattrass, and Joshua Nattrass.
