Shirley R. Saccone, 84 of Port Orange passed away gently October 2, 2015. A Celebration of life, in her honor will take place at 10 am Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Port Orange. Family request Bright Vibrant colored clothing for the Celebration. Shirley was born October 14, 1930 to the late Dudley and Lorraine King Day in Scotia, New York. She loved horseback riding. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines of Tri City Albany, Schenectady and Troy. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Orange. Surviving her in death is one daughter Lisa L. (Patrick) O'Neil of Dallas, TX; Three nieces Nancy Leip, Bonnie Craven of Port Orange and Wendy Howard of Seattle Washington; two grandchildren Marcy (Justin) Polayes , Alex Patrick O'Neil ; Several loving neighbors and friends. In lieu of Flowers donations are asked to be made to the First Baptist Church of Port Orange.
