Thomas (TOM) Edwin Emens, Sr., 77, of Flagler Beach, Florida, passed from this life to return to his eternal family on June 13, 2018.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Meetinghouse located at 402 N. Palmetto Street, Bunnell, Florida. Services will begin at 4:00 PM. Internment arrangements are being handled by Cardwell Lohman Funeral Home.

Tom was born in Hudson, Michigan on April 17, 1941. He graduated from Leslie High School and worked in farming after high school. Tom was married to his high school sweetheart, Judy Ambs on June 27, 1959; they were married 59 years. In 1961, their first of seven children were born. In 1962 Tom relocated the family to Florida where he stayed for the remainder of his life. In 1966 Tom was baptized and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Tom passed from this life a rich man. He loved his family, and anyone could tell they were his biggest source of joy. He and Judy are blessed with seven children, 19 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren who will all miss his smile and big hugs. He enjoyed his collection of model tractors and his ever-growing Christmas light display.

Tom is survived by his wife Judy Emens, sons Mark Emens, Thomas Emens, Jr., and Aaron Emens, daughters Annie McDaniel and Angela Olmo, brother Phillip Emens, 19 grand children, 21 great-grand children, and other family and friends.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Deane and Florence Emens, brothers Bill and Bob Emens, son Jon Emens and daughter Teresa Smith.
