Thomas Eason Tharp, age 87, of Daytona Beach Shores passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024. He was born in Macon, GA to the late C.B. Tharp and Ethel Tharp and was a graduate of Lanier High School. Tom attended Auburn University and the University of Georgia. He was a member and past Elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Before retiring in 2000, Tom was a manufacturer's rep. He loved meeting people and never met a stranger. When relocating to Daytona Beach, he missed meeting GA Bulldawg fans and formed the Daytona Beach Bulldawg Club and served as President for several years. Tom will be greatly missed by his loving family but are comforted by the full life he led and his lifelong commitment to his Lord and Savior.

Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Janet Swymer Tharp; sons, Bradley (Holly) of New Port Richey, FL; Jade (Mary) of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Christopher, Kalee, Bailey and Bradey and 3 great- grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
