Wayne G Orrender, Jr, 79, of South Daytona, FL, passed away peacefully Monday, February 3, 2025, at 1:08 PM at Halifax Hospital, Daytona Beach. Wayne was born July 20, 1945, in Richmond, Virginia, the son of the late Wayne G, Sr. and Elva (Shearl) Orrender.

Wayne was a veteran of the US Navy, a Master Mason of the Northside Lodge #292, Richmond, VA, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason of the Orlando Scottish Rite Bodies, and a retired State of Florida- Department of Revenue employee of 22 years. He loved his precious wife Barbara of 34 years who preceded him in death, he also loved his family and friends and loved meeting new people. Wayne never met a stranger. In earlier years he loved drag racing, NASCAR, and riding motorcycles. In his later years, his love was cruising, Carnival being his favorite.

Wayne is survived by his four children: William Orrender (Joni Monroe) of Daytona Beach FL, Tina Stern of Aylett, VA, Michael Kempher (Lori) of Findlay OH, and Cindy Kempher of Dayton, OH. Eight grandchildren also survive him; Jennifer (Matt) Findley, Bridgette (Kevin) Folsom, Chase (Casey) Kempher, Matthew Orrender, Paetyn Monroe, Olivia Kempher, Samantha Smith, Alexander Orrender; preceded in death Caylin Monroe. Five great-grandchildren, Owen and Addie Folsom, Elizabeth and Maddie Findley, and Dominic Moon.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Lohman Funeral Home-Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Ave., Daytona Beach from 2:00-3:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm in the chapel.
