Wayne Arnold Peters, 79, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Wilmington, NC, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Advent Health, Daytona Beach, FL. He was born on February 14, 1943 to the late Benjamin and Ida (Silver) Peters.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Georgianne Peters.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Matthew Peters (Rhonda), Benjamin Peters; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Wayne served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969 as a first lieutenant and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Wayne enjoyed spending his spare time volunteering with the AMVETS Post 113 where he was an "Honorary AMVET Rider" and the Florida DAV Chapter 86 where he served as treasurer.
A celebration of life is being planned by AMVETS Post 113.
