William C. Howe, 81, a longtime resident of Blue Point, New York passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in Port Orange, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Phyllis Howe; son, William and wife Carolyn of Blue Point; daughter, Kathleen and husband Robert also of Port Orange; 4 grandchildren, Kelly Grube Fraczak, Charles Grube, Bailey Howe, Billy Howe, and 2 great-grandchildren, Emily Fraczak and Olivia Fraczak. Bill started his career as a town police officer then later moving to a position with Suffolk County Police, when it was established, he then moved to the marine division for 18 years on their K boat, he served a total of 23 years as a police officer. He served as a radioman in the Army in Korea. He was a life member of the Patchogue Elks lodge #1323 and serviced as an officer in many capacities. He will be sorely missed. A celebration of life will be held on March 30, 2014 at 2:00 P.M at the Elks Lodge #2723, 5207 Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, FL.
